About Cambridge 5K
Cambridge 5K (C5K) was a popular road and trail race series based in Cambridge and the greater Boston area, active from 2011 through 2016. The series was known for combining competitive running with festive themed events, craft beer from local breweries, and live music. Each race benefited local charitable organizations and community groups.

Cambridge 5K organized festive road and trail races that were sponsored by Boston's best brewers. The 2015-2016 series featured FELLSFEST (9/13/15 at DCR Middlesex Fells), a German hip hop Oktoberfest (10/04/15 in Kendall Square), a re-mixed old school hip hop & EDM holiday kick-off, Yulefest (12/13/15 in Harvard Square), an amazing St. Patrick's Day 5k with an epic indoor post-race party, Craicfest (3/13/16 at CambridgeSide Galleria), a patriotic summer jump off, Freedom Run (6/05/16 in East Cambridge) and a 2.35 mile 'sprint' trail race, SASQUATCH (7/10/16 at DCR Middlesex Fells).
